FLC Tools Workshop: Bloomberg Basics In-Person
This workshop is designed for those with little or no knowledge of Bloomberg. This workshop will introduce students to the basics of Bloomberg and will cover topics such as:
- the terminal and keyboard
- Bloomberg account creation
- navigating and searching the terminal
- accessing product help
- Bloomberg certification
- Bloomberg's Excel API
Student will leave the workshop understanding what kinds of data and content can be accessed through Bloomberg and how it can be used to support various management courses. Key commands or functionality highlighted will include: BI (Bloomberg Intelligence), N (News), EQS (Equity Screening), and FA (Financial Analysis).
NOTE: The FLC has only have 3 Bloomberg terminals available for student use so this workshop will be delivered as a live demo rather than as a hands-on session.
